! When our elderly mother died, we were at a complete loss as to what to do with her house. It was old and very run down, but it had a lot of hidden value. Fortunately, someone put us in touch with Paula. At our first meeting, she came completely prepared, with pictures of the comps in the area and a portfolio of her amazing work. When she left, we looked at each other and both said “WOW”. We knew she was the one and she didn’t disappoint. Paula was the perfect realtor for this kind of situation. She helped figure out exactly what kinds of repairs or remodeling were needed to maximize value. She also has a contracting team that knows exactly how to get the most reasonably priced materials, etc. We spent about $40,000 for a major remodel that I would have expected to cost twice as much. I also would have thought it would take 6 months, but the work was completed in 3 weeks. What’s more, that $40,000 remodel increased the value of our home by $100,000. Paula handled all other aspects of the sale as professionally as one could imagine. She is highly communicative and she kept in touch with us constantly. She had perfect advice about negotiating with buyers. She did such great publicity for the house that we had more than 100 people show up to the first open house, and we had multiple offers that day above what we were asking for.
